I’ve been working on a YouTube series about horror films, which are available to watch here:

What’s so scary about The Exorcist?

Oculus: Cracking the Mirror

What is the Babadook?

I’ve reviewed movies, books, current games and the odd bit of theatre on The Void.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1

The Wizard of Oz in 3D

Joss Whedon: Geek King of the Universe

The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Best of Friends

inFAMOUS: Second Son

Rubberbandits: Continental Fistfight

Viva Forever: A Spice Girls Musical (note: This show closed after a seven month run following abysmal reviews. I’ll always be proud to count mine among them)

Five out of Ten magazine have published some of my stuff:

Issue 14 (theme – Nature) has my articles “Mass Effect: The Dirty Dozen” and “The Unnatural Evolution of Pokemon.”

Issue 17 (theme – Myth) features “A Crisis of Fayth” (inspired by my experience of playing Final Fantasy X) and ‘Kracking the Kode of Gaming Myths” about gaming urban legends and Easter eggs, which heavily features the Mortal Kombat series.

The magazine is no longer running, but copies are still available.

I’ve written the following Retro Gaming articles for RetroCollect:

Top 5 Scots in Videogames

Top 5 Drunks in Videogames

Interview with Rodney Greenblat, creator of PaRappa the Rapper

Controversial Moments in Gaming part 2: Sex and Violence in the Seventies

Controversial Moments in Gaming part 1: Night Trap, Mortal Kombat and the ESRB

My YouTube channel features some reviews I did for the Gamewank podcast as well as some new material. Go on, show it some love and listen to my ridiculous voice!
